Ashley began her skateboarding journey freshman year of college. Beyond bored on winter break she picked up an old cruiser board her brother had lying around and spent every day after that exploring her hometown. Soon enough she was spending all her Christmas money on a longboard. Upon her return to school in the mountains of Western North Carolina she discovered that there were many people who enjoyed the steep terrain. The friends she made who shared gear, tips and a passion for going fast on a skateboard changed the course of her life forever.
These days she works as a freelance building designer and gives skate lessons. She spends all her free time and disposable income on traveling and skating with the friends she has made across the country and the world. She is honored to be able to represent Team USA for a second time at the World Skate Games in Argentina this November.
