US National Championship

USA Downhill Skateboarding Association - Helmet

USA Downhill Skate Association is in the process of creating a National Championship for the first time in the United States this year. Our goal is to sanction the National Qualifying Races that will be selected to determine the USA Downhill and Street Luge Team that will compete in the World Skate Games, to be held in Italy in 2024. We are interested in working with event organizers to make this a reality.

Knox Mountain has confirmed that USA Downhill will be the sanctioning body for the event. We are working closely with Miles O’Connell to ensure that all aspects of racing go smoothly for our nation’s athletes in attendance.

USA Downhill is looking forward to this opportunity to bring an exciting new element to Gravity Sports Racing in the United States. Crowning National Champions in the following divisions will elevate our discipline, make racing for a title more accessible and add legitimacy to Gravity Sports Racing in our county:

Open Stand-up Skateboarding National Champion

Women’s Stand-up Skateboarding National Champion

Open Street Luge National Champion

We are eager to work with event organizers that would like to host events in the United States as part of the National Championship.

At this time, there is no official word on which races will be part of the qualifying series and included in the National Championship.

Proposed National Championship Races are:

Tour De Maryhill

Soldiers of Downhill

Confirmed Races:

Knox Mountain Downhill

As soon as we have more details, we will announce them.

USA Downhill is open to feedback from riders and event organizers. Most of all, we are stoked to have the opportunity to bring great racing experiences to the athletes!
