Diversity and Inclusion Statement

As the governing body for Gravity Racing Sports in the United States, USA Downhill Skateboarding Association is committed to fostering a culture of diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) that reflects the rich tapestry of the global community of gravity sports enthusiasts. We believe that the strength of our sport lies in its ability to unite individuals from all backgrounds and walks of life.

Diversity: We celebrate the diversity of our participants, fans, and stakeholders. We welcome individuals of all races, ethnicities, genders, sexual orientations, abilities, ages, and backgrounds. We recognize that a diverse community brings unique perspectives and experiences that enhance our sport.

Equity: We are dedicated to providing equal opportunities for all participants, from newcomers to seasoned athletes. We are committed to fair competition, fair treatment, and a level playing field for everyone, regardless of their background. We strive to remove barriers and ensure that all individuals have the chance to excel in gravity sports.

Inclusion: Inclusivity is at the core of what we do. We actively promote an environment where every person feels valued, respected, and included. We encourage open dialogue, listen to diverse voices, and learn from one another to make our sport better and more welcoming.

We understand that our journey towards DEI is ongoing. We pledge to continuously educate ourselves, challenge biases, and refine our policies and practices to create a more inclusive community within gravity sports racing. Together, we can propel our sport to new heights, built on the principles of diversity, equity, and inclusion.

Join us in championing these values as we embrace the spirit of unity, fair play, and camaraderie in Gravity Sports Racing.
