USA Downhill Skateboarding Association (USA DSA) is thrilled to announce a T-Shirt Design Contest! We’re looking for creative minds to craft a design that embodies the spirit of downhill skateboarding and street luge. The winning design will be featured on our official merchandise, and the artist will be spotlighted in a feature article on our website and across our social media platforms.
Eligibility:
- Open to all, regardless of age or professional background.
- Participants under 18 must have parental or guardian consent.
- Must agree to the Terms & Conditions of the contest upon submission.
Submission Guidelines:
- Design Theme: “The Spirit of Downhill Skateboarding and Street Luge”
- Submission Deadline: April 25th at 11:59 PM PST
- Format: JPEG, PNG, or PDF
- Resolution: 300 DPI, with dimensions suitable for a t-shirt print
- Submit entries to: support@usadownhillskate.com with the subject line “T-Shirt Design Contest Submission”
- Include your full name, contact information, and a brief description of your design.
Design Requirements:
- Original artwork only. No plagiarized or third-party images.
- Suitable for all ages – no explicit content.
- Can be in full color or black and white.
Judging Criteria:
- Creativity and originality
- Relevance to the theme
- Visual appeal
- Practicality for printing on merchandise
Prizes:
- Winner: The winning design will be licensed to USA DSA for official merchandise. The artist will receive a spotlight feature article on the USA DSA website and social media, plus a Prize Package valued at $300.00 (Package includes: various skate gear & swag).
- Sponsors of the Prize Package will be announced in the coming days.
- Runners-up: Top 5 designs will receive special mentions on our social media platforms.
Rights and Licensing:
- By submitting a design, participants grant USA DSA the right to use, modify, and distribute the design for promotional and commercial purposes.
- The artist retains the copyright to their design but licenses it exclusively to USA DSA for use on merchandise and promotional materials.
- All submitted designs will be considered the property of USA DSA for the duration of the contest and the licensing period.
Winner Announcement:
- The winner will be announced on April 27th at the Maryhill Spring FreeRide & via our website and social media platforms.
- All participants will be notified by email regarding the contest outcome.
Miscellaneous:
- USA DSA reserves the right to make final decisions regarding all contest-related matters.
